The discovery: what if transfer factor isn't only in animals?

For most of the history of transfer factor research, the question of source was a question about animals. The original 1949 discovery by H. Sherwood Lawrence at NYU School of Medicine isolated transfer factor from human white blood cells. 4Life Research's commercial breakthrough in 1998 moved the source to bovine colostrum — and over the following two decades, the company extended the source set to hen egg yolk.
